Jurek Barth

I like making useful things, solving real problems, and helping good teams do their best work.

I’m a hands-on engineering leader and software architect based in Munich. I code daily, work across native apps and the web, and favor pragmatic problem-solving. My work ranges from small personal tools to resilient systems that keep a business running.

At tado, I lead Information Technology. Away from that, I build apps for Apple devices and contribute to open source. I’m optimistic by default, and always interested in what better tools can make possible.

AI is part of my daily workflow, from exploring ideas to shipping code. I care about the result: useful software, reliable systems, and a team that can keep learning.

Architecting resilient NetSuite ERP integrations with Temporal, running €10M+ Shopify Plus e-commerce infrastructure, and building a sales platform for campaigns, claims, and settlements. Leading a lean core team with AI tools embedded in daily work.
